Starting with school year 2008-2009, re-tests were mandated for students who scored achievement level II on the initial test. Moreover, the state paid for the retesting. Thus, re-testing soared, with ~40% of students being re-tested through 2012. In 2013, the state reversed their policy, and no longer provided or supported any re-tests. In 2013, there was virtually no re-testing. From 2014 through 2016, a small percentage of students are re-tested. Variable is constructed from Math test scores.
