What will I be able to do after registering?

One of the main reasons for registering is to be able to download datasets that we make available. Once you register and successfully verify your email address, you will be able to log in and download specific datasets from our DataHub.

Also you may receive periodic emails with updates regarding new datasets that are available, updates to existing datasets, and information about the CEHI DataHub. Users are able to opt out or unsubscribe from these emails if desired.

What information is recorded in using this site?

We track session-level information about what parts of the site are accessed, what datasets are downloaded, and any events a user may initiate (registration, log in, etc.) This information is used to better understand level of activity, which parts of the site are used, and other metrics. Individual user activity will not be shared, but aggregated information about overall site activity may be shared with outside organizations.
